After 35 years as a Personal Support Worker, I've seen firsthand what truly good care looks like and, how often people fall short of receiving it. That gap stayed with me, and eventually, it moved me to act.
LuMarcas was born from that experience, and from the two people who inspire everything I do - my children, Lucas and Marcas.

Services We Provide
What's Outside Our Scope of Care
Important: our PSWs do not provide lifting or transferring assistance.
This is a safety and training boundary we take seriously — transfer assistance requires specific equipment and clinical training our current service isn't set up to provide. If you need transfer or mobility-lifting support, we recommend consulting a regulated home health agency with trained staff for that specific need. We're happy to help you think through what kind of support fits your situation when you contact us.
Meet Your Care Team
We currently have background-checked Personal Support Workers on our team — one male, one female. To protect their privacy, we don't display their names or photos publicly, but you're welcome to ask about their experience when you book.
You can request a PSW by gender preference — simply let us know when booking whether you'd prefer to be matched with our male or female PSW, based on your comfort.

How Booking Works

Choose your service(s) — select from companionship, grocery shopping, appointments/transportation, shopping assistance, cleaning, or general support (you can combine services in one visit).

Pick your date, time, and duration — all bookings require a 4-hour minimum at $28 CAD/hour.

Select a PSW gender preference — male, female, or no preference.

Submit your request — bookings must be received at least 24 hours in advance for confirmation. We can't guarantee same-day requests.

Get confirmed by text — you'll receive an SMS confirmation once your booking is reviewed and approved.
